Jason Smith is the Chief Operating Officer for dotCMS, Inc. Process oriented, driven to succeed and with an eye for detail, Jason has a great knack for assembling teams of talented and motivated individuals – producing award-winning professional services and product development. For more than 8 years, he has shaped this proven and valuable operation for both short and long term success. His responsibilities include overseeing fiscal operations, human resources and working with managing directors of consulting, implementation and client/support services.

The founding architect of dotCMS and an active participant in the open-source community, he has been instrumental in developing the business model and company philosophy -- that professional open-source solutions can offer a better approach to software development. With more than 10 years of business consulting, software engineering and Internet experience, Will’s responsibilities include directing the development of the dotCMS products and onDemand systems. He works tirelessly in providing ongoing strategic technological vision and working to continually facilitate community growth, improve the open source product and expand dotCMS’s service offerings.
